Peter Palmer Relays

Big congratulations to the junior team of Beth Hanson, Becky Young, Sam Fielding,Tom M’Caw, Josh M’Caw and Mark Purkiss who came sixth in the Peter Palmer Relays on 8th September. We were the only southern team to make the trip, and took on some big teams to get this excellent result. The competition area ran between the Hawes End centre and Derwent Water, so it was a very picturesque setting.   

Starting at 4.45 in total darkness the relay continued until about 7.30, by which time we’d all had breakfast twice and were ready to catch up on sleep.
