Nomansland Common

A public common just to the South of Wheathampstead. The area comprises a large expanse of semi-open grassland with scatted copses and depression and several pockets of woodland. All the wooded areas have contour features, pits, depressions, earth walls and knolls. The areas was mapped under the Millennium Awards for All scheme for C5 or low key events. Although quite small, Nomansland is intricate enough to provide a decent green course with good planning.
