Joining the Hertfordshire Orienteering Club, familiarly known as Happy Herts, gives you a range of benefits :

• A variety of social events including an annual club dinner with speaker and club gatherings at major events.

All club members are also members of the South East Orienteering Association and may be either National or Local members of British Orienteering. This gives benefits including a reduction of £2 for seniors on entry fees to District and Regional events throughout the country for National members and in the South East for Local members. The subscriptions are as follows for 2008 (for new members these cover membership from now until the end of 2008) :

* There is no charge for Local British Orienteering membership for the first year of membership so these reduced prices apply for seniors and families (there is no charge for juniors).

These figures will be discounted by £1 if payment is made by direct debit.

Additionally we have a group membership category which is aimed at schools and youth groups, eg Scouts. This costs £20 per year. For the benefits of this membership please contact us using the details below.

Family and Group members receive only one copy of club mailings, but otherwise receive the same benefits as individual members.
