Whippendell Wood

A wood near Watford, comprising mainly deciduous wood on gentle slopes. There are some open and semi-open areas, used for club picnics in the past. One or two large depressions and lots of small knolls and rootstocks. Not large enough for Badge events, but has been used for more or less every other type of event at some time in its history. There is a permanent course here. Whippendell Wood now forms part of the larger, Cassiobury Estate Map
