Oxhey Woods

Mature deciduous woods near Watford and the M25 with a number of streams ditches and gentle re-entrants. Rampant rhododendron growth threatened the area a few years ago, but following clearing, the southern part of the map is quite runnable. Other parts of the area are adversely affected by brambles. Ingenious planning, with second master maps has allowed a full colour-coded here in the past, but realistically only suitable for limited colour-coded events.
