Egypt Woods and Burnham Beeches

As the name implies, Burham Beeches consists of mainly beech woods with quite extensive rhododendron growth. Gentle hills, with stream valleys, some complex areas of knolls and depressions. Owned by the Corporation of London. Used for night events up to championship standard.

Egypt Woods is an extension to the north of Burnham Beeches, which is also fast deciduous woodland, but with fewer paths as this is private land. The north and west contain numerous large depressions and the east is dominated by a long stream valley.

The combined map is large enough for events of all standards.
