Balls Park

Just to the south of the centre of Hertford, this area comprises the grounds of the old Balls Park and of Simon Balle School. While not wildly exciting, the area contains plenty of potential control sites, including several lakes, a few knolls and a plethora of distinctive trees. Much of the area is either wooded or covered with scattered trees, making for pleasant running. Mapped under the Millennium Awards for All scheme and suitable for C5 or low key events.
