Whether you are in training for that big run, or just want to improve your overall fitness, here is a new way of achieving your goal. Come and run, walk or jog through urban streets and parks with a group of like-minded people.
You will improve your fitness almost without knowing it, as you concentrate on 45 minutes of dashing from point to point. A new variation on interval training?
Each month you will follow a different course and explore different parts of the greater St Albans and central Herts area.
Turn up any Tuesday this summer at 7pm, in your training shoes, with a pen and a watch, at the Meeting Point (see details below). Instructions for the run will be provided at the start.
Cost £2 per run, £10 for 6 runs; suitable for all adults, from 16+ to 60+.
Most of the evenings are only suitable for over 16s (unless accompanied by an adult) since there are road crossings. Some of the school holiday events will be park based and therefore suitable for everyone.
All take part at their own risk.
